Product Detailed Description

System composition:

  • Fuel storage module: mainly composed of LNG storage tanks, used to store low-temperature liquid LNG. The storage tank usually adopts a double-layer structure, with a vacuum in the middle or filled with high-efficiency insulation materials to reduce heat transfer and maintain the low temperature state of LNG. The common design temperature is about -165℃, and the design pressure is about 0.7-1.2MPa.

  • Fuel delivery module: including equipment such as cryogenic pumps, responsible for extracting LNG from the storage tank and delivering it to subsequent processing links. The cryogenic pump can work stably in a low-temperature environment and provide sufficient pressure to ensure the smooth delivery of LNG.

  • Gasification heating module: composed of a vaporizer and a heating device. The vaporizer converts liquid LNG into gas. Common vaporizers include open-frame vaporizers, submerged combustion vaporizers, etc., which use heat sources such as seawater and engine cooling water to absorb heat and vaporize LNG. The heating device heats the vaporized natural gas to a suitable temperature to meet the engine's intake requirements.

  • Filling module: It is equipped with liquid filling port and gas filling port for filling the ship's LNG tank. At the same time, it is also equipped with corresponding pipelines, valves and control systems to achieve safe and efficient filling operations and balance the gas phase pressure inside and outside the tank.

  • Safety and control system: It includes safety equipment such as safety valves, emergency shut-off valves, combustible gas detectors, and automatic control systems. Safety equipment can respond quickly to abnormal conditions such as overpressure and leakage in the system to ensure system safety. The automatic control system monitors and adjusts key parameters such as temperature, pressure, and flow in real time to ensure stable operation of the system.

  • Good economic performance: Compared with traditional marine fuel, LNG is relatively cheap, which can reduce the operating costs of ships. Moreover, LNG has high combustion efficiency, which can reduce engine wear and tear and reduce maintenance costs.

  • Stable supply: The system has self-boosting adjustment function and advanced control technology, which can automatically adjust the gas supply according to the engine load to ensure that the fuel can be stably supplied to the engine to meet the fuel needs of ships under different working conditions.
